Apprentice Site Joiner
Full time apprenticeship for 3 years –
Salary TBC
39 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 7am-2.30pm (plus over time as required)
At the end of appointment period Dynamic Construction will seek to redeploy to relevant trade post if available.
Dynamic Construction are keen to continue the tradition of harnessing and developing the talent of young people in the local area and as such are looking to recruit apprentices who meet the following criteria:
Applicants MUST reside in Leeds area preferably (West Leeds). Applicants MUST be 16 years of age by 31/07/22 and no older than 18 years of age as of 31/07/22.
Details
You will be fully trained up in all areas of Joinery including, Health and Safety, manual handling, first and second fix, kitchen fitting, Joinery maintenance and using hand tools in the commercial environment.
Training to be provided
Full apprenticeship training provided, working towards an Intermediate Level Apprenticeship gaining a Level 3 qualification in Carpentry and Joiner Functional Skills (if required).
Job Requirements
Qualifications Required: Ideally grade 4 or above in Maths and English at GCSE level or functional skills level 1 or you will have to work towards your level 1 functional skill(s) whilst you attend College.
You will need good practical skills with attention to detail. Applicants need to be enthusiastic, well organised, self motivated, and punctual. You need to be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
