Project Overview
The purpose of this project was to transform eight existing rooms into IT laboratories. The first part of the project was to strip out the existing space which involved removing suspended ceiling tiles, floor coverings and old power and lighting.
The next stage was to fit out the space with updated fixtures and fittings. This included a new suspended ceiling and carpet, full redecoration, new window blinds and the installation of adequate power services, lighting and the associated switching circuits.
We also had to coordinate the data cable installation and ensure the space supported state of the art audio visual equipment.
This project incorporated many different elements so it was vital that timings were accurate. Because of the requirements of the space, the client needed a high quality level of workmanship which we were more than capable of providing. The project was a success and the University now has fully refurbished, fit for purpose computer labs.
