Leeds City College New University Centre

Project Overview

 

This work was carried out for Leeds City College who were aiming for higher education with university status.

 

The project involved moving the estates department to new accommodation and changing the building usage. Five floors of office space needed to be transformed to form the new university teaching space.

 

There were some structural alterations to be carried out followed by a full fit out. This included new partitions, suspended ceilings, soft and hard floor coverings, plumbing and full decoration of the space.

 

On top of this we had to make electrical alterations to suit the new lighting and power layout and accommodate new audio and visual data.

 

Because we offer full construction solutions we were ideally placed to undertake this project. We were able to coordinate all the different works effectively. This ensured that we were able to deliver the new space on time and in line with the client’s budget.
